Almost finished with the Peasant Shawl from Goddess Knits. A friend gifted me with her first batch of kettle dyed wool (worsted) and I couldn’t wait to cast on for the shawl.
Worked up over the Winter holidays during a LOTR movie marathon.

The knitting goes on apace. Lovely, lovely yarn. And really perfect with this pattern. I should have this finished soon. YAY! Because the weather is turning so much colder. As a bonus I bought a new winter coat this past weekend. Black merino, double breasted. And this shawl will look dashing paired with the coat.

Battle of Trenton on Saturday. This is a good one because of the ambiance of the Old Barracks. Plus the tactical is fought down city streets. Always fun.
Although I won’t be falling out with the rifles this time. My shoulder is still properly borked and lifting a 7 pound weight over and over wouldn’t be wise. Particularly because it requires some rotation of the shoulder joint which is in short supply at the moment.
So, I’m going to take my limner supplies and perch somewhere and sketch.
